We bought our first Bazadaise Heifer in 1989 and would not change to any other breed.

Our herd has grown buying some females in the early days and using carefully selected bulls from France and our own home bred bulls.

We used the bazadaise bull on our dairy herd which proved a huge success. Keeping the mainly black Xbred heifers, we put them back in calf to the bazadaise and so produce top quality beef.

WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?

The Xbred female is an excellent commercial suckler cow. Good natured, a good mother, plenty of milk and hard wearing.

WHAT WILL THE BAZADAISE BULL DO FOR YOU?

Easy calving.

The calves are small born but change dramatically over the first 3-4weeks showing length, broad backs and muscle.

Quality beef

Commanding top prices on the live and dead weight market owing to the good grades, excellent carcase weights, less waste and pure quality of beef for the table.
